Congratulations to Robert M. Joynes On Becoming a Wenderoth Partner

Wenderoth is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert M. Joynes to partner, effective April 1, 2021.

Robert is a registered patent attorney in the firm’s chemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice group. Having a chemistry degree and an advanced degree in biotechnology, Robert assists domestic and foreign clients in a wide variety of technologies, including antibodies, vaccines, pharmaceutical formulations, small molecule chemistry, cell culture technologies, and array devices. Robert Joynes focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications worldwide on behalf of domestic and foreign clients as well as providing opinions to clients on patentability, validity and clearance matters.

Prior to joining Wenderoth, Robert worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner. Additionally, Robert worked at the National Institutes of Health in the Office of Technology Transfer as a patent and licensing specialist. After government service, Robert worked in two IP boutique firms in the Washington, D.C metro area.
